For New Years, we headed up to Big Bear to celebrate with my family. Being the New Years Eve is also my mom's birthday, it was certainly a time to celebrate! We had the wonderful privilege of staying at my Aunt Dani and Uncles Paul's cabin. It is so cute and quaint!! The drive way was snowed in with 4 feet of snow, pretty much up to my shoulder! That was an interesting sight to see. After we hauled all of our things in, we headed over to Vons, to get some last minute snacks. You would have thought we were going to Disneyland or the Mall on Christmas Eve...it was completely packed! And, let me just tell you, people in big bear are not very courteous drivers! There was no order to the parking lot and the driving lanes. You can also tell who lives there and who is just visiting by the clothes they wear. I wore my big snow jacket and my mom's ugg boots, and then I saw some people with a sweater and sneakers....interesting!
All in all, we had a great time ringing in the new year! We managed to stay up till midnight...well most of us did at least....cough cough, Dad!!!

By the Way, this picture is a great representation of the difference in personalities between Daniel and me. I will let you figure it out. Also, I am not missing any teeth, it may look that way, but no, I have all my teeth fully intact!
