My Favorite Things Exchange
From NOW - September 30, 2009
All entries must be in by August 30th. All items must be mailed by September 30.
Rules:
1. Must be a US resident to participate.
2. Must send items once you have entered. That's what this is all about, sharing your favorite things with a stranger!
3. Please do not send more than 10 items in your package.
4. Doesn't matter how much you spend or how much you make, do what you can and that's enough!
5. To enter, please Email me your information! Read below for more detials.
YOU MUST EMAIL ME YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS TO ENTER THE EXCHANGE!!!! IF YOU DO NOT EMAIL ME YOUR ADDRESS, YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE. This information is only for the exchange, your name and address will not be used for anything else, and that's a promise!
Please also include anything that you DO NOT want sent your way. For example, if you are on a diet, you can say, please no candy.
My Favorite Things Exchange!!
It's exactly as the name explains, we are exchanging a few of our very favorite things. Things that you love to use, work with, read, eat, make, or just simply makes your life easier. Feel free to make your items or purchase them, it's entirely up to you. You can send your items in a box or large envelope, whichever fits. Optional items include: a personal note explaining the items, receipts, etc. When you email me your information, you are committing to your exchange partner. It would be so sad for someone not to receive a special package, especially if they sent one out, yikes! You also have to realize that you may not receive a package, you are suppose to, but if the person that has your name doesn't follow the rules, then you are out of luck, so sorry, I wish I could make everyone follow the rules!!
On August 31st you will get two emails, one with a name and address, this is your exchange partner, the person you are going to send your package to, the person you are sharing your favorite things with. The other email will have the name of the person who is sending you a package. Please send your package on or before September 30th. That gives you a month to pull all of your favorite things together to send off. You can send anything that is appropriate and qualifies as your favorite thing (just remember: things melt in the mail, so maybe its a NO to the chocolate!). There is no minimum to the amount that you spend, so if you can only make or purchase one item, then send it. Please do not purchase or send more than 10 items, we do not want this to get expensive. This is a fun, summer time exchange that will bring happiness all over the country!!!

If you are hesitant to participate and have never done an exchange before, this is a good one to start with!! It's pretty easy and you DO NOT have to make anything if you don't want to. Just do it!! Dive in!! Have a little fun!
