Bias Tape Can Be Your Friend!

So my dear friend Sara challenged me to make a flat iron/curling iron holder for her. One that she can have two pockets, a big pocket for her iron and a smaller pocket for the cord so it doesn't get destroyed by heat.

Interesting, i think i can do this...

I tried, and i have a pretty good mock up, one that i am happy with...but BIAS TAPE.I tried to sew bias tape for the first time, and it was difficult and i did a lot of exasperated sighs and some loud grrrrring....

So i decided to look up how to sew bias tape on youtube and i found Amy from Angry Chicken, not only was it very helpful but it was hilarious.... i wasn't expecting funny!! If you want to sew on bias tape and dont know how...check it out here and you will be a pro in no time.
