Keeping it Real...

The Queen Bee Market was UNREAL!! The ladies behind the whole idea, went above and beyond my expectations. Jessica and Mique are the real deal, they wanted this market to be a success and they worked HARD to get there. With their dedication, vision and encouragement the vendors were given the opportunity to let their talent shine. Jessica and Mique had it all, they had all the details planned down to the canvas shopping bags available for use. I was so privileged to be among these ladies as well as the amazing, talented vendors that were there.

Here were some of the vendors that showcased their best work. And when i say best, i mean, these ladies are THE BEST IN HANDMADE!!!

Joys Hope
Rock a Bow
Cherry Tree Lane
The Pleated Poppy
Emily Sparks

And many other ladies that you will find here.

IT was truly an unreal event, amazing, i wish we could have one monthly... i wish i would have snagged more goodies... I wish i didnt go into labor after set up on Friday night!!!!

TRUE STORY!!

I went into labor on Friday night at 33 1/2 weeks... long story gone short, ok? I went in after having contractions for 3 hours, they concluded that i was starting pre term labor, thankfully they stopped the contractions and sent me home to rest for the weekend. I was still going to go to queen bee the next day, but then decided against it because i was still having contractions off and on. Sunday same story, but they got more frequent and so i went in AGAIN.... and AGAIN, i was in pre term labor... the first shot didn't stop them, but an IV and another shot later, they had stopped, and i was sent home on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy...thankfully they said i could resume normal activity after 36 weeks if i wanted, but i think i will wait till 37 weeks at least...she still needs to bake.

So i didn't get to go to queen be on Saturday, i didn't get to see the outside vendors or spend more money! Bummer, summer! thankfully i did buy a few things Friday night... swoon...

And now i sit here on the couch, watching Fried Green Tomatoes, reading a Franscine Rivers masterpeace, and not letting my lack of doing anything make me feel like a lazy slob.

Here is a picture of Kristen and I's booth...don't her tutu's just make it so cheery!!??
